Hillgrove Resources (ASX:HGO) is an Australian copper producer based in South Australia’s Adelaide Hills, just 55km from the Adelaide CBD. Operating since 2005, Hillgrove transitioned from open-pit to underground copper production in 2024 and operates a well-capitalised 3-3.6Mtpa processing plant.
In addition to the Kanmantoo underground operation, Hillgrove holds extensive exploration tenure across South-Eastern South Australia and is actively advancing high-potential copper targets. About the role
The role is offered as a Permanent role as either Part-Time at 0.8 FTE / 30.4 hours per week or Permanent Full Time / 38hpw . We’re open to school hours, compressed hours or shorter hours across five days. If you are looking for flexibility. . . . this may be the role for you. Bring your HR experience and choose what helps you do your best work. This is an onsite, hands-on role at the Kanmantoo Copper Mine, where you’ll have the autonomy to apply your existing skills with confidence and grow in a highly desirable industry sector. You’ll join a supportive, down-to-earth culture, with clear ownership, access to site leaders, and room to grow. Uniform and all mandatory site-compliant PPE provided.

What you’ll do
- Keep our HRIS, learning, and people records accurate and audit-ready
- Support recruitment admin: ads, screening, interview logistics, pre-employment checks and offers
- Coordinate onboarding/inductions, medicals and fitness-for-work steps; set up IT/payroll access
- Track probation, licences/medicals/visas and key HR calendars
- Prepare contracts, letters and policy acknowledgements using approved templates
- First-line HR contact for leaders and employees
- Opportunity to support the Return-to-Work process
What you’ll bring
- Experience in HR or high-volume administration
- Proven data integrity and attention to detail
- Strong organisation/time management; calm under competing deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication with a professional, approachable style
- Microsoft 365 proficiency and exposure to HR systems
- Desirable: HRIS admin experience, recruitment experience, resources/heavy industry exposure, basic payroll inputs, working knowledge of NES/Awards
