About Hillgrove

Hillgrove Resources (ASX:HGO) is a growing ASX-listed Australian copper producer with its heart in South Australia. Located in the majestic Adelaide Hills, only 55km from the Adelaide CBD, Hillgrove has operated since 2005 and completed open-pit mining at Kanmantoo in 2020. In 2023 we commenced development of our underground mine and in 2024 completed our transition to underground copper production.

Our operation is well capitalised with a 3–3.6Mtpa processing plant, with permitted surface infrastructure in place. Hillgrove is also testing the next suite of high-potential targets. In addition to the Kanmantoo operation, we have a large land holding of granted Exploration Licences in South-eastern South Australia, which are highly prospective for the discovery of economic copper deposits within a variety of geological settings (“South Eastern Copper Project”).

What you’ll be doing

This opportunity will see you play a pivotal role in supporting our Underground operations with your contributions directly supporting production outcomes.

As part of our Service Crew, you will:

• Operate and Maintain Equipment: Conduct pre-start checks, operate machinery, and transport necessary equipment.
• Install and Repair Systems: Set up and maintain air, water, and ventilation systems; manage sumps and pumps.
• Underground Construction: Install and maintain infrastructure, including ventilation systems and cable bolts; assist with charging up activities.
• Assist in Development Areas: Support the setup of new development areas to ensure continuous operations.
• Ensure Safety Compliance: Identify and mitigate hazards, follow safety procedures, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Handle Waste and Materials: Remove waste and transport materials between stores and underground sites.
• Communicate Effectively: Interpret directions, report hazards, and maintain open communication with team members.
• Collaborate with Team: Work together to achieve operational goals and maintain a positive work ethic.
• Adapt to Changing Conditions: Be flexible with tasks, teams, and work hours to meet operational needs.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking dedicated individuals who are self-driven and proactive in their work. Candidates will have previous experience in underground mining, including operating underground equipment. You will have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and have a proactive mindset towards safety and continuous improvement.
